The music feed has been quite low recently so I'm sorry if I'm procrastinating right here and not giving you guys many recent updates on new songs and new albums for that matter but next week, so I've heard, there will be plenty of new updates.
Moving on, I have a huge secret to confess: I don't watch television since February 2011 (everything for the Oscars - hehe!) and I'm not a fan of neither Reality Shows nor Teen Drama Series. Mostly, I only watch comedies such as Friends, How I Met Your Mother, Two and a Half Men, The Big Bang Theory and many others. However, recently I have found out about a brand new TV series that got me very interested called "Grimm". The plot? It's a modern day version of The Brothers Grimm stories with a dark, sinister touch to it.
Nick and Hank (the two main characters that portray the role of the brothers), are two cops who work together solving mysterious cases in the town of Portland, Oregon. Now here's the catch: Nick is a descendant of "The Grimms" -- a hunting group whom's mission is keeping humanity safe from supernatural creatures in the world. Only Nick has the power to see through people and know their real, gruesome identity.
What I like about this series mostly is that it teaches people a lesson (unlike what you see on Gossip Girl for example) which is: Don't judge a book by its cover. Would you ever imagine that an innocent, tender old man could turn out to be a nasty, blood-curdling werewolf? Unpredictable and surprising, the two words that perfectly describe this show!
Not only does Grimm teach us a lesson in life, but also one of the particular reasons why I like it so much is that its a show that puts me on the edge of my seat (which is a feeling I personally LOVE feeling) and also because I have always been a fan of the dark side of fairy tales. For instance, whenever I watch a movie that is fairy tale based, this thought always creeps up in my mind: "What would of been of the ending if the good didn't win?"
Although I LOVE talking to all of you about irrelevant topics, what I wanted to say all along was that at the start of the pilot, this song all of you probably know already (since it's THAT freaking old) "Sweet Dreams" started to play and it combined so perfectly well with the scene that it got me shivers and literally made me scream with terror.
Feeling pretty grimm lately? Check out this stunning promo!
Not to mention, actor David Giuntoli (plays Nick) is quite a catch I must say!
Enjooooooy :)
